Aimee Teegarden has joined Matilda Lutz and Alex Roe in Paramount‘s Rings, the third installment in the horror franchise about a cursed video tape that unleashes a demonic horror which kills the unwitting viewer within seven days. Formerly called The Ring 3D, Rings began principle photography in Atlanta this week. It’s directed by F. Javier Gutiérrez from a script by David Loucka, Jacob Aaron Estes, and Akiva Goldsman. The former Friday Night Lights star will next be seen in the romantic comedy My Bakery in Brooklyn, and the comedy feature A Change Of Heart. She’s repped by Innovative Artists Agency, and Myman Greenspan Fineman Fox Rosenberg & Light LLP.
German actor Clemens Schick is joining EuropaCorp’s The Lake, also starring Sullivan Stapleton (300: Rise Of An Empire), J.K. Simmons (Whiplash), Charlie Bewley (Twilight) and Diarmaid Murtagh (Sons Of Liberty). The thriller follows a group of Navy SEALs in war-torn Serbia out to solve a mystery connected to hidden treasure. Schick will play the villain, Petrovich. Directed by Steven Quale (Into The Storm), The Lake hits theaters July 15, 2016. Schick will appear next in the Point Break remake. He’s represented by Timaeus Group.
