John Leguizamo, Lynn Collins and Jim Belushi have joined the cast of thriller The Man On Carrion Road for director Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego. Patrick Wilson and Ian McShane star in Atlas Independent’s story of a botched Mexican cartel deal in the back roads of a border town that leads to the brutalization of its residents. Production begins April 14. Leguizamo, repped by UTA, Silver Lining Entertainment and Sloane, Offer, Weber and Dern, was in Ride Along and Kick-Ass 2 and next appears in Jon Favreau’s Chef. Collins’ credits include John Carter and X-Men Origins: Wolverine; she is repped by Paradigm and Untitled Entertainment. Belushi, whose recent credits include The Defenders and According To Jim is repped by ICM Partners and Brillstein Entertainment.
Meegan Warner has been cast in horror pic The Veil for Blumhouse Productions and Universal. Jessica Alba, Thomas Jane and Lily Rabe star in the horror pic about the lone survivor of a cult’s mass suicide who returns to the scene with a documentary film crew 30 years later. Warner will play Ann, one of the members of the documentary film crew led by Alba. Shooting begins this month. Warner stars in the AMC spy drama Turn, which premieres Sunday on AMC. She is repped by Gersh, Armada Partners and Stone, Meyer, Genow, Smelkinson and Binder in the U.S. and by Smith & Jones Management in Australia.
