Today being Paula Faris‘ first official day as new weekend co-anchor of ABC’s Good Morning America, Dan Harris, Ron Claiborne and Sara Haines welcomed her with a segment called “The Story of Paula.” Faris, who had been World News Now anchor, replaces Bianna Golodryga, who left ABC News to join Yahoo.

GMA Weekend‘s team additions also include Rob Marciano, who last month was named Senior Meterologist, joining the weekend program and also reporting on weather throughout the week across all ABC News broadcasts. Marciano, who had been co-anchor at ET since 2013, is maybe better known for the decade he spent as hot weather guy at CNN.
