Broad Green Pictures continues to ramp up with the hiring of Jeremy Fuchs as Chief Technology Officer. He will lead the upstart distributor ‘s consolidated IT strategy, delivery and operations globally, working with senior management to develop and leverage new systems and technology that ultimately will support all of the studio’s creative endeavors.
Fuchs comes to Broad Green from Capgemini’s Media and Entertainment Practice in Los Angeles, where he advised studio and new-media clients. Before that he spent more than a dozen years in influential roles in studio IT at Lionsgate and Warner Bros.
“Jeremy is an industry veteran whose contributions at Lionsgate, Warner Bros and Capgemini have spanned technology solutions and business processes touching on nearly all aspects of studio operations,” said Broad Green CEO Gabriel Hammond and Chief Creative Officer Daniel Hammond. “He is uniquely positioned to understand the role that technology can play in the growth and development of a studio.”
Broad Green made a big splash at Sundance when it acquired Ken Kwapis’ A Walk In The Woods, starring Robert Redford and Nick Nolte, for a whopping high-seven-figure P&A commitment.
