The network that bill itself as “feel good TV for you and your family” had greenlighted its latest series — and it certainly fits that bill. Casting is underway for UP‘s working-titled Last Hope With Troy Dunn, in which author and motivational speaker Dunn tracks down lost loved ones and facilitates reunions. Produced by DunnDeal Studios, the series will launch in the fall. Meanwhile, the net also has acquired all 44 episodes of Dunn’s reality series The Locator, which it will bow on June 1.
“Troy’s work to heal fractured families has brought to television some of the most uplifting stories of healing, redemption and forgiveness that viewers have ever seen,” said Amy Winter, EVP and General Manager of UP. “This will be more than just ‘a show.’ This is his life’s work.”
