Aisha Hinds (Under The Dome), Spencer Garrett (Blood And Oil), Todd Weeks (The Maiden Heist) and Mo McRae (Wild) have been cast opposite Bryan Cranston in All The Way, HBO’s adaptation of the Tony-winning Robert Schenkkan play. Directed by Jay Roach and executive produced by Steven Spielberg, the film covers Lyndon Baines Johnson (Cranston) from the moment the assassination of John F. Kennedy made LBJ the 36th president of the United States and through a turbulent first year that included leveraging his power to pass Civil Rights legislation in Congress up to his landslide re-election victory in 1964.
Hinds, repped by Greene & Associates, will play Fannie Lou Hamer, leader of the Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party. Garrett, repped by Abrams Artists Agency and LINK Entertainment, plays labor union leader Walter Reuther. Weeks, repped by Greene & Associates, is Walter Jenkins, Johnson’s longtime aide. And McRae, repped by CAA and Untitled Entertainment, plays civil rights activist Stokely Carmichael. In addition to Cranston, they join previously announced Melissa Leo, Anthony Mackie and Bradley Whitford.
Spielberg, Schenkkan, Roach, Cranston, Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey are executive producing. Shooting begins next month.
