Rob Day has been promoted to EVP, Head of Unscripted Production for Endemol Shine USA, the unscripted division of Endemol Shine North America, whose hit shows include Fox’s MasterChef and MasterChef Junior, CBS’ Big Brother and NBC’s The Biggest Loser.
The move comes after previous EVP Linda Giambrone exited the company a few months back. She had been in that post since her promotion in June 2013.
In addition, the company today said former Relativity TV exec Jesse Kerns has been hired as SVP Unscripted Production, and Kirk Anderson has been promoted to VP Unscripted Production. Kerns and Anderson report to Day, and Day now reports to Eden Gaha, President, Unscripted Televion, Endemol Shine USA.
Day (pictured right), a reality veteran who has been with the company since December 2006, oversees production on such series as the MasterChef duo, Biggest Loser, CBS’ upcoming Hunted, CNBC’s Billion Dollar Buyer, Fox’s Superhuman and Steve Harvey’s syndicated daytime talk show.
