As her production debut Annabelle Hooper And The Ghosts Of Nantucket nears its June premiere during the Nantucket Film Festival, Good Witch actress Bailee Madison has lined up her second effort as a producer with the military family drama Cowgirl’s Story. As with Annabelle Hooper, Madison will also star in Cowgirl’s Story, which tells the story of high school cowgirls who must hold down the home front while their military parents are on duty in Afghanistan.
Madison, who was just 15 when she signed on to produce Annabelle Hooper last year, currently stars on Hallmark Channel’s Good Witch. Other previous credits include ABC’s Trophy Wife, ABC’s Once Upon a Time, Adam Sandler’s Just Go With It, and Guillermo del Toro’s Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark.
It’s written and directed by Timothy Armstrong who also co-produces; the pair previously worked together on Armstrong’s Cowgirls ‘n Angels. Production on Cowgirl Story begins May 9 with Samuel Goldwyn Films distributing.
Madison is repped by Coast to Coast Talent Group and Derek Kroeger at Myman Greenspan. Armstrong is repped by APA.
