Primary Wave Entertainment, the company formed from the amalgam of Evolution Entertainment Partners, Intellectual Artists Group and Primary Wave Music, has beefed up its lit, digital and comedy ranks with three new hires. Manager Brett Etre, digital executive Lauren Fortner and manager Tatiana Sarah all start immediately, based in Los Angeles. Etre joins after 12 years of running his own banner, BE Management, representing TV, film and digital talent including Gotham writer/EPs Steven Lilien and Bryan Wynbrandt. Fortner joins Primary Wave’s digital and social media department from Imprint Media, where she worked on client campaigns ranging from L’Oreal to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Sarah most recently was at 3 Arts Entertainment, where she repped comedy writers and performers including Mary Holland, Epic Lloyd, Milana Vayntrub and British comic Luisa Omielan. Etre’s and Sarah’s respective client rosters make the move with them.
Jordan Bazant, founder, former principal and partner of the Legacy Agency, has joined WME. He’ll be based in New York. Bazant’s industry expertise and strong relationships across the sports world bolsters WME’s representation practice. He also will work on business development and special projects across the WME|IMG portfolio. The Legacy Agency was created in 2011 when Goal Marketing, which Bazant had co-founded in 2000, merged with Legacy Sports Group. Bazant has worked with a wide range of clients including NFL Hall of Famers Troy Aikman and Marshall Faulk along with Reggie Bush, Bobby Hurley and others. Prior to Goal Marketing, Bazant worked at Integrated Sports International.
