Veteran TV exec Tim Bock began his production career as an assistant at dick clark productions, and now he’s been hired as Senior Vice President of Production for the company. In his new role, Bock will oversee production for dcp’s roster of shows which includes American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest and a variety of other projects. He’ll be based at the company’s Santa Monica headquarters and will report to Amy Thurlow, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer.
“Tim brings with him more than 20 years of television production experience working with major networks and production teams in scripted, reality, variety, music, event, talk, sports and game show formats, and a proven track record of negotiating, budgeting and executing with efficiency which will serve him well as we continue to grow,” said Thurlow.
Bock most recently served as Vice President of Production for ABC’s Alternative Series & Specials department. Prior to ABC, Bock held a variety of roles on productions for NBC, CBS, HBO, TNT, Warner Brothers Television, and many others. He began his career as an NBC Page at The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, which led to his first television production role as a PA at dick clark productions in 1989.
