Rick Fox & Khloe Kardashian Not Dating: Met To Talk About Lamar Odom

Khloe met the former LA Laker at Casa Vega in Sherman Oaks on May 22. The two reportedly left at 1:30am, and an eyewitness EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife.com that both Khloe and Rick “looked cozy.”

“It was just the two of them,” the Casa Vega insider tells HollywoodLife.com. “They were talking and laughing. They shared guacamole and chips and had a couple margaritas.”

How tasty! Guacamole and margaritas after midnight sounds like a perfect date to us. However, before we sound the New Couple Alarm, sources told HollywoodLife.com that these two aren’t seeing each other. Actually, Khloe and Rick had met that night to discuss Khloe’s husband, Lamar!

“This was not a date and they were talking business and Lamar,” a source EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife.com. Khloe wanted to get some advice on what to do with Lamar, and the source claimed said that Rick was the perfect guy for her to go to.

“The NBA is small fraternity, and both Rick and Lamar are former Lakers and former rivals. They know each other very well,” said the source.

Rick & Khloe: He Was A ‘Shoulder To Cry On’

“She wanted to talk to someone that isn’t a family member,” the source told HollywoodLife.com. “She wanted a different perspective from what her family tells her. Rick was the shoulder to cry on, so to speak.”

Aww. That’s sweet that Rick was there for Khloe. Hopefully, Rick’s help somehow leads to her working out her feelings with Lamar. Still, if anyone thinks there’s something between her and Rick, the source told HollywoodLife.com that Rick, who split from Eliza Dushku in 2014, is committed to living the single life for now.

“He’s happy dating around,” the source said, adding “and keeping his options open.”
