Now this is a grand entrance! Alex Rodriguez and girlfriend Anne Wojcicki made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 2016 Met Gala. Although the couple have been dating for months now, what better way to put your love on display than fashion's biggest night? A couple that slays together, stays together! Alex Rodriguez, 40, and Anne Wojcicki, 42, made their first public appearance as a couple at the Met Gala on May 2, and man did they slay. Not only were their outfits stunning but those huge smiles tell it all. They're totally into each other!

The 20-year MLB vet looked dapper in a tailored black and white tux, while Anne was a knock out in a sexy, white gown with a high slit. The theme for the night was man versus machine, and Anne’s intricate beading and detailing on the bodice definitely went along with it.

Although this may have been a shocking way to address those dating rumors, we kind of saw this coming for a little while now. In February 2016, rumors of their romance started to pick up after they were spotted at the Vanity Fair Super Bowl party together. And they were seen a couple more times grabbing dinner with friends.

The relationship is still fairly new, so we understand why they might have wanted to keep it on the hush, but it looks like all bets are off and they are both ready to let their love shine. And we can totally see why he would want to show off his leading lady on the red carpet. Anne is the co-founder and CEO of a major analytics company, 23AndMe and previously was married to the co-founder of Google. Brains and beauty – what else could you ask for?

Hopefully, now that these two have made their official appearance as a couple, we will get to see many more pics of them having fun at whatever events they head to next.
