Did Justin Bieber Diss Pink At BBMAs? — See His Instagram Rant – Hollywood Life

Justin Bieber Owns Up To Dissing Pink At BBMAs: I Won’t Fake A Smile Like Everyone Else

Justin Bieber totally dissed Pink, and he isn't afraid to admit it! During Pink's performance at the Billboard Music Awards on May 22, JB made a rather disgusted face. But instead of apologizing for his scowl, Justin took to Instagram to declare that he isn't going to fake any smiles! Justin Bieber is getting real, even if it means dissing his fellow musicians! The 22-year-old singer was seemingly unimpressed with Pink's performance at the Billboard Music Awards, as cameras caught him scowling in the audience. Beliebers surely thought that JB was just caught at a bad time, but Justin has come forward himself to admit that it was no mistake -- he's not going to put on a happy face if he doesn't feel like it!

Reading Time: 3 minutes

“A lot of people in the audience there to be seem worried about how much camera time they will get or who they can network with. When I’m doing a regular show I feel they are there for the right reasons and to strictly have a good time! But these award shows seem so hollow,” Justin wrote in a lengthy Instagram essay following the BBMAs. “I get the premise is to award people for their accomplishments, but is it really? Because when I look in the audience I see a bunch of fake smiles so that when the camera hits them they look happy.”

Even if Justin wasn’t aware that he was on camera during Pink’s performance, it sounds like he wouldn’t have changed his expression if he had known. Justin didn’t own up to dissing Pink specifically, but the main point of Justin’s Insta rant was that award shows lack authenticity — so clearly his disgusted face was totally legit! I don't know about these award shows.. No disrespect to anybody at any of the shows or the people running it. Nothing but love for you guys and your support. But I don't feel good when I'm there nor after. I try to think of it as a celebration but can't help feeling like people are rating and grading my performance. A lot of people in the audience there to be seem worried about how much camera time they will get or who they can network with. When I'm doing a regular show I feel they are there for the right reasons and to strictly have a good time! But these award shows seem so hollow. I get the premise is to award people for their accomplishments, but is it really? Because when I look in the audience I see a bunch of fake smiles so that when the camera hits them they look happy. Sure there are people truly proud of others so I don't want to knock them I'm just looking at the vast majority. I just think to myself if I'm living my purpose I want the reward to be fulfillment. I'm getting awarded for the things that I'm doing and not for who I am which is understandable I know it would probably be hard to calculate and award someone's spirit lol. But When I do get these awards the temptation of putting my worth in what I do is so hard to fight!!!I am privileged and honored to be recognized by my peers in but in these settings I can't feel the recognition. There's an authenticity missing that I crave! And I wonder does anybody else.. Sorry not sorry about grammar it's not my strong point

While we respect Justin for expressing his opinion on award shows, his rant is awfully ironic considering his performance was rather lackluster. No one was caught looking disgusted while he was on stage, but Justin’s fans totally called him out for lip-syncing his “Sorry” and “Company” mashup! In fact, Justin didn’t even really look that enthused when he was performing his own music!

Justin’s disinterest in the BBMAs is just another odd behavior that we’ve seen from the superstar lately, along with shaving his head, getting a face tattoo, and walking barefoot in a park. Although his BBMAs incident may be the least strange of the bunch, it certainly seems like Justin is in a rather vulnerable state these days. Now that Justin has let some frustration out in his Instagram rant, we’re hoping to see more smiles and less questionable behavior from JB soon!
